When Charlie’s mother decides to throw a party for her business associates the young girl decides to boycott it by staying in the bungalow. Charlie feels her mother’s company invests in companies that do a disservice to humanity and the earth. She will not partake. So it is no shock when her new white step daddy comes to beg her to join the party so her mom can show her daughter off to her rich guests. If Charlie does this what is in it for her?
